The PEEK (Polyether Ether Ketone) ball screw assembly integrates a high-performance PEEK polymer ball nut with a precision metal screw shaft. Designed for extreme environments, it delivers superior mechanical strength, thermal stability, and chemical resistance compared to conventional polymers like POM or nylon. Ideal for aerospace, medical, and industrial automation applications demanding reliability under harsh conditions.
Extreme Thermal Resistance
Continuous service up to 260°C (480°F), with short-term peak resistance at 310°C. Thermal degradation <5% at 300°C/100h (vs. POM’s 100°C limit).
Ultra-High Load Capacity
Tensile strength 90–100 MPa, compressive strength >150 MPa. PV limit 3× higher than POM, enabling heavy-duty cycles at 30 MPa contact pressure.
Chemical & Radiation Inertness
Resists steam, acids, alkalis, and hydrocarbon solvents. Withstands γ-ray sterilization (50 kGy) and X-ray exposure, critical for medical/atomic industries.
Zero-Lubrication Performance
Self-lubricating with wear rates <10⁻⁶ mm³/N·m (per ASTM G133), eliminating particulate contamination in cleanrooms.
Aerospace: Flight control actuators, satellite mechanisms (–55°C to 150°C vacuum stability).
Medical: MRI-compatible surgical robots, implantable device drives (ISO 13485 certified).
Energy: Subsea oil/gas valve actuators (resists H₂S/CO₂ corrosion at 10,000 psi).
Semiconductor: Wafer-handling robots (ultra-low outgassing: <0.1% TML).
